Non-Profits vs. Businesses
WHAT EVER HAPPENED, TO NON-PROFITS, THAT WORKED TO BOOST, SUPPORT, AND STRENGTHEN GOOD CAUSES? ORGANIZATIONS IN PLACE TO ACT AS A SOURCE OF INFORMATION, TO CRUNCH NUMBERS, AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THOSE WHO ARE DOING GOOD WORK?
WHY HAVE SO MANY NON-PROFITS STARTED OPERATING AS BUSINESSES? WHY AM I COMPETING AGAINST NON-PROFITS FOR WORK? WE’RE SUPPOSED TO COLLABORATE< NOT COMPETE!
Poaching for the illegal, commercial bushmeat trade not only kills adult chimpanzees, it also harms their baby chimps who are captured and sold into the illegal pet trade.
The lucky ones aren’t killed and some manage to be found and the poachers stopped by authorities.That’s where the Jane Goodall Institute comes in.

“This Is Where We Live” is a film for 4th Estate Publishers’ 25th Anniversary. It was produced by Apt with Asylum Films. ‘The film was produced in stop-motion over 3 weeks in Autumn 2008. Each scene was shot on a home-made dolly by an insane bunch of animators.’
